Organize categories and client-group availability
Open **Products → Categories** (`/services/categories`) in Fusion Pro Admin. Use the category manager to organize a catalog and define group availability. You need category-edit permission.
Create or edit a category
1. Add a category, or open an existing category for editing.
2. Enter **Category Name**. Use **Localized Category Name** if the catalog needs translated labels.
3. Choose a **Parent Category** to place it within the intended hierarchy.
4. Review **Client Groups** and the group status switches.
5. Add a category image or **Category Info** when useful, then save.
Category placement and group availability are separate choices. Put the service into the intended primary category and enable both the category and service for the target group. Adding a translated name does not create a second category.
Verify the customer view
Check a customer in the intended group rather than relying only on your admin view. If a category or service is missing, inspect parent placement, group switches and the service’s own enabled groups. A valid price does not make a disabled service orderable for that group.
**Expected result:** the catalog uses the intended hierarchy, names and group availability. When changing a populated category, review its existing services before deleting or moving anything. Avoid using category names as supplier service identifiers; supplier mappings are configured on the service itself.
