Upload and find files for your store
Open **Content → Files**. Choose or create the destination folder before uploading. File-manager view and upload permissions are separate, so a staff member may be able to browse without being able to add files.
Upload files
1. Select the destination folder.
2. Choose **Upload files** or use the upload drop area.
3. Select up to 20 files at once.
4. Review validation and upload activity. A single image can open the image editor before upload.
5. Wait until the file is successfully added to the folder before using it in your content.
Supported files
Images include JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, and WebP, up to 2 MB each in this upload flow. Other supported files up to 5 MB include PDF, ZIP, RAR, 7z, TAR, GZ/GZIP, and JSON. File content must match the extension. Renaming an unsupported file to a supported extension does not make it valid.
Find what you uploaded
Use the folder pane, search, view controls, and type filters **All**, **Images**, **PDFs**, **Archives**, **JSON**, or **Other**. Refresh files if needed. Images have a Preview action; non-image files have Download. Check the actual file before linking it from a page, announcement, or email.
Public and Private folders
The file manager offers Public and Private library sections. Do not treat moving a cloud-uploaded file into the Private section as proof that its existing content URL has become access-controlled. Use this manager for the store assets intended for that delivery flow; keep confidential records out of public asset links.
Failed upload
Read the individual error in upload activity, fix the size or format, and retry the failed item when offered. A partially successful batch does not require uploading every successful file again.
