Configure task fields and board permissions
Review the board before editing
Open the board and choose **Board settings**. Check its current owner, members, columns, and existing tasks before changing fields or permissions.
Configure fields
Open the fields section and use the available field controls. Give each field a clear label, choose the correct type, and configure its options and required behavior. Review existing tasks before removing a field or changing its meaning.
Configure columns
Review status and priority columns separately. Use names that reflect your real process and keep the order understandable. Check workflow transitions when renaming or removing statuses so the available moves still match the board.
Configure members and permissions
Include the authorized staff who need the board and set the permitted actions. Board membership, task assignment, and permission to delete or configure the board serve different purposes. Do not share an administrator login to bypass a missing task permission.
Save and verify
Save the board settings and inspect a task with the relevant role. Check that field labels, choices, required validation, and available actions match the intended workflow. A control visible to the board owner is not proof it is available to every member.
