Show an eligible discount at checkout
Open the discount’s **Offer Details** and review **Show this discount at checkout**. Turning it on publishes a supported offer for checkout discovery; it is different from privately sharing a code. Decide whether public visibility is appropriate before enabling it.
Supported public configuration
The reviewed implementation requires a **code-based** offer with exactly **one code**. Use amount off products or amount off order, with a **percentage** or **fixed** value. Buy X Get Y, automatic offers and free-value discounts are not supported by this public display option.
For an amount-off-products offer, select at least one eligible product or category. The code must be active. Total-use and per-customer usage limits are not supported for publicly displayed checkout discounts yet, so a restricted usage-limited offer cannot simply be made public.
Publish and verify
1. Confirm the method, type, eligible products/categories and single code.
2. Check the value and active dates.
3. Enable **Show this discount at checkout** and save.
4. Verify the offer in the intended customer/cart context, including whether the cart actually qualifies.
5. Disable the display option again if public availability was not intended.
Valid public values are 0.01–100 for a percentage or 0.01–99,999,999.99 for a fixed value. These ranges validate a stored offer; they are not a recommendation for the commercial discount amount.
**If saving is rejected:** correct the specific unsupported combination rather than stripping private restrictions without reviewing the commercial effect. A published code can still depend on the offer’s eligible cart and dates; visibility alone does not establish entitlement.
