Create a discount-code offer

Open **Discounts** (`/discounts/all`) in Fusion Pro Admin. You need permission to create offers. Prepare the discount value, intended products/customers and active dates before making an offer available.

Create the offer

1. Select **Add Discount**.

2. Choose **Discount Type**: amount off products, amount off order, or Buy X Get Y as appropriate.

3. Use **Discount code**. New Automatic discount creation is not available in this native editor.

4. Enter **Offer Name** and the discount value/type shown for that offer.

5. For a code-based offer, enter the intended code or codes.

6. Configure eligibility, minimum purchase, active dates, usage limits.

7. Review and save, then reopen the offer.

A percentage, fixed amount and free-value offer have different effects. Read the currency label for fixed amounts. An offer’s per-order application is separate from one use per client or a total usage cap.

For manually entered codes, use 3–50 letters, numbers or hyphens. Existing codes cannot be reused by another new offer. The code set cannot be changed after creation; decide it before saving and create a new intended offer rather than trying to rewrite a redeemed code.

Existing automatic offers can be viewed with their stored method, but the native editor does not allow changing an existing method or creating a new automatic offer. Do not promise an automatic promotion from a code-only creation form.

**Show this discount at checkout** is a separate publication option with stricter supported configurations. Leave it off for private or unsupported offer types; see public checkout discounts.

**Expected result:** the saved offer has the intended method and value. Verify with the correct eligible customer/cart before announcing it. Creating an offer does not prove every customer or checkout qualifies.
