Set or restore client order limits
Open **Clients > List > client > Order Limits**. Client-specific overrides and workspace defaults are separate. Workspace-wide total limits still apply. Review the configured policy, effective policy, and current usage before changing a limit.
Change a client limit
1. Confirm the client and intended order channel.
2. Review the current effective limit and usage.
3. Choose the available policy for each channel: Set Limit, Unlimited, Block Orders, or Default. For Set Limit, enter whole-number hourly/daily values of 1 or more where intended.
4. Use **Default** to inherit the workspace policy rather than copying its current number.
5. Save, reopen the tab, and check the resulting effective policy.
Restore defaults
Use **Restore defaults** to remove all client-specific overrides and confirm **Restore default client order limits?**. Workspace defaults will apply, so inspect those defaults before confirming. This action is different from setting every limit to unlimited.
If ordering remains blocked
Check the order channel, current usage, effective workspace policy, account status, and wallet funds. Raising a limit does not fix a supplier rejection or invalid service field. Managing limits requires a separate permission; if the form is read-only, have the workspace owner review access.
