Set a client wallet overdrive allowance

**Wallet overdrive** allows a client to place orders using a negative balance within configured limits. Treat it as an intentional credit allowance. It does not add received funds to the wallet.

Set the allowance

1. Open the correct client’s Wallet.

2. Review current balances, unpaid invoices, and ongoing orders.

3. Enable **Wallet overdrive** only if the account should be allowed to use it.

4. Enter the intended per-currency overdrive limit in the displayed currency rows. The control presents the permitted negative amount.

5. Choose **Save overdrive**.

6. Read **Update wallet overdrive?** and confirm the intended allowance.

7. Refresh and verify the saved switch and limits.

Disable overdrive

Turn the switch off, save, and confirm. This stops the permission to use a negative balance; it does not repay an existing negative wallet balance, cancel an order, or collect money from the client. Reconcile any existing exposure through the normal invoice and payment process.

If an order is still blocked

Check the order currency, current balance, outstanding order locks, effective allowance, order limits, and service/account status. Increasing overdrive cannot correct a supplier-side rejection or invalid order fields. Balance viewing and overdrive management require separate access, so an administrator may see the values without permission to save them.
