Reverse or refund a wallet-funding invoice
Open the Wallet Credits invoice and choose **Refund** when available. Check whether the invoice is paid, whether its wallet credit remains reversible, and whether a provider payment is refundable. These are separate amounts.
Choose the intended outcome
**Wallet balance only** removes eligible wallet credit without sending an external payment refund. **Manual refund processed externally** records a refund already handled outside Fusion Pro and requires its genuine Transaction / Reference ID. **Original payment method** is available only when the gateway/payment summary supports it.
Review the action
1. Load the refund summary and inspect the wallet-credit line and fees.
2. Review **Rebate wallet balance**, which debits credit created by the invoice. Where reversible credit remains, it must be handled before recording the related external refund.
3. Select the intended Refund method and review any gateway-specific references.
4. Compare Invoice Total, Paid, Wallet Reversible, Selected Refund, Wallet balance debit, and External refund to record. The external refundable amount may differ from wallet credit.
5. Check automatically selected fee rows.
6. Choose Refund selected, confirm Process refund, then refresh the invoice and wallet ledger.
7. For an outside refund, verify provider status separately.
Prevent duplicate adjustments
An Unpaid wallet-funding invoice can still have credited the client. Removing that credit does not imply a payment should be returned. Conversely, a paid provider receipt may still need a distinct external refund. Do not add a separate Rebate funds operation when this flow already debits the wallet.
If the summary shows no reversible credit, insufficient balance, an unsupported method, or an uncertain previous request, stop and reconcile the invoice, ledger, and provider. Repeating a refund with another reference can create an incorrect duplicate record.
