Create and organize client groups
Open **Clients > Groups**. A group is an account classification used elsewhere for pricing and access. Create the group before assigning clients or building a membership tier around it.
Create or update a group
1. Select **Add client group**, or open an existing row.
2. Enter **Group name** and choose whether the group is **Active**.
3. Set the group icon and color to make it recognizable in client records.
4. For a new group, use **Add**. For an existing group, choose **Save** or **Save & Close**.
5. Refresh Groups and verify the resulting name and status.
6. Where needed, assign the group from a client profile or a reviewed bulk client update.
Reorder groups
Use the drag handle on the Groups grid and check the saved order. Reordering the list is different from editing a membership ladder or changing a service’s price. Review those settings separately.
Before deletion
Review clients and membership programs using the group. **Delete** requires a confirmation and is permanent. System groups are protected. If deletion is unavailable, check both the group type and your permissions. Do not use deletion to remove a client balance or refund an order.
An existing group can expose wallet limits and transfer/voucher eligibility. These have additional requirements described separately. If a save reports that the group was saved but wallet limits failed, re-open both sections: do not assume all settings changed together.
