Open Website Builder and the manual editor
Choose **Website Builder** from the sidebar. The page offers **Manual editor** and **Build with AI**. You need the relevant Website Builder permission; Connected AI availability and permissions are checked separately.
Open the manual editor
Choose **Manual editor → Open editor**. The editor opens in a separate tab using the selected workspace session. Allow that tab to open and confirm the workspace before making changes. Keep the signed-in handoff URL private.
Choose the editing route
Use the manual editor to design supported pages, menus, and styles by hand. Use **Build with AI → Open Connected AI** when that option is enabled and you want a connected AI client to work with supported website tools. If plan availability is shown instead, review **Explore plans & trials** or ask the workspace administrator.
Drafts and publication
Changes remain a draft until published. Work on the intended theme, inspect its current preview, and publish only after reviewing the customer-facing result. Saving content or copying a suggested prompt does not publish a website.
Sample prompts and demos
**Sample prompts** helps describe a requested change. Copying a prompt runs nothing. **See the process** uses sample data to demonstrate the workflow; it is not confirmation that a change was made to your workspace.
Cannot open the editor
Check the selected workspace, Website Builder access, and blocked new tabs. If the handoff no longer works, sign in again and reopen it from Website Builder. Report the page and error to support without forwarding the signed-in URL.
