Use LiveTranslate in the Inbox

Start translation

Open a conversation and choose **Start LiveTranslate**. Select the available agent and customer language options as needed. Check the detected message language rather than assuming detection is always correct.

Review incoming messages

Translated messages keep language options. Open the message translation control to choose another language, retry a failed translation, or use **Show original**. Names, product codes, order references, and technical terms should be checked against the original text.

Preview a reply

1. Write the reply in your normal working language.

2. Read **Reply translation preview** to see what the customer will receive.

3. Check amounts, dates, service requirements, and any promises.

4. Send only when the preview matches your intent.

If translation is unavailable

Wait for a pending translation or retry the message. When the reply preview cannot be prepared, use the displayed guidance; **Stop LiveTranslate** lets you send your original text. Tell the customer clearly if the response language changes.

Use it responsibly

Translation can change meaning. Keep technical identifiers unchanged where possible and ask a clarifying question when a translated request is ambiguous. Do not treat translation as verification of a payment instruction or a customer identity.
