Maintain article versions and archive old guidance

Review the current answer first

Open the article and read the published version before editing. Check which service, policy, and customer audience it applies to. Preserve useful guidance for old installations in a clearly labeled legacy article rather than mixing it with current Fusion Pro instructions.

Review previous versions

Use the article’s version-history action to open previous versions. Compare the content and publication details. Select the intended version and use **Restore this version** when you have confirmed it is the right basis for the article.

Confirm after restoring

Read the restored text and review its current collection, visibility, and AI settings. Confirm the saved/publication state shown by the UI and intentionally publish when required. Restoring an old instruction is not evidence that the feature or external provider still behaves that way.

Unpublish or archive

Use **Unpublish** when the answer needs to return to a draft workflow. Use **Archive** for content that should leave normal Help Center browsing. Review the confirmation and then check that customer browsing reflects the intended result.

Keep knowledge current

Review the relevant article whenever a service requirement, setup screen, or policy changes. Update related links and examples too. Publishing a product feature does not by itself prove every Help Center article was reviewed or rewritten.
