Add funds to a client wallet

Use **Add funds** on the correct client. This creates wallet credit and an invoice. You need permission to view/manage wallet balances and available staff adjustment capacity. Confirm the currency and financial reason first.

Add the credit

1. Open the client’s Wallet and choose **Add funds**.

2. Select Currency and enter a positive Amount.

3. Choose **Invoice status**. **Unpaid** still credits the wallet immediately and leaves the funding invoice unpaid. Use it only when that credit is intended.

4. For **Paid**, select the real **Payment method** and enter the genuine **Transaction reference**. Wallet credit is not an external payment method for this action.

5. Review **Estimated balance after** and the client name, currency, amount, and invoice status.

6. Choose **+ Add Credit**, review the confirmation, and confirm once.

7. Refresh Wallet and inspect the new invoice and ledger credit.

Paid and received are separate checks

Choose Paid only after independently verifying that the payment was received using your payment process. The form records a payment reference; it does not charge a card or initiate a transfer. A reused transaction reference may be rejected. Do not invent a new reference to force a duplicate payment through.

If the request fails or times out

Inspect the wallet, ledger, and invoices before retrying. A lost response can leave the operation completed. If the credit exists, do not add it again. If controls are disabled, have the workspace owner review the role and wallet-adjustment allowance instead of changing unrelated account settings.
