Add and update system currencies

Open **Settings → Currency & Wallet → Currency**. The **System Currencies** table lists each configured currency, rate, and status. You need permission to modify general settings to change them.

Add Currency

1. Select **Add Currency**.

2. Choose **Currency** from the offered list.

3. Set **Active** as intended.

4. Enter a positive **Rate**. Read the equation beside the field: the rate is the number of selected-currency units equal to one unit of the current default currency.

5. Review **Enable Wallets** and group funding limits only if you want wallets in that currency.

6. Save and check the new row in System Currencies.

Edit a rate

Open the currency's edit action, update **Rate**, and save. For example, if the default is USD and your intended rate is 1 USD = 80 units of another currency, enter 80 for that currency. Use a rate appropriate for your business and review the resulting pricing; do not invert the rate.

Active and default

The default currency is used for base calculations and must remain active. The system rejects a request to deactivate or simply unset the current default. Use the separate default-currency process when you intend to change the base.

If the value is rejected

Check that the rate is positive, the selected code is supported, and your role permits changes. Reopen the saved currency after a failed request before trying again. This configuration does not itself add funds to a customer wallet.
