Connect a custom domain to your cloud workspace

Custom-domain setup is available for cloud workspaces. You need access to the DNS provider for the hostname and permission to modify general settings. Use a hostname with a subdomain, such as `shop.yourbusiness.tld`; the form does not accept an apex-only domain for this flow.

Add the hostname

1. Open **Settings → General → Company Identity**.

2. Open the domain setup control.

3. Enter the hostname in **Domain**, without a page path.

4. Choose **Next**.

5. The **DNS Status** drawer opens after the domain is added. Review each domain and its validation records before making DNS changes.

Configure DNS

Copy the exact **Type**, **Name**, and **Value** shown under **Pending Domains Validation Records** into your DNS provider. Follow the notes displayed for each record. The setup can show separate storefront and API hostnames, so complete every required hostname. Use **Export DNS Records** if you need the supplied DNS import file.

Check readiness

Return to **DNS Status → Reload** and inspect **Status**, **Last Checked**, and **Notes** for each hostname. Adding a domain to Fusion does not itself create records at your DNS provider. Wait until the displayed validation is complete, then open the actual customer hostname over HTTPS and verify the intended workspace.

Domain already exists

Recheck the hostname and current workspace. A hostname already linked in the platform cannot simply be added a second time. Ask support to review the existing association rather than unlinking an unrelated workspace.
