Add a supplier API connection
Open **Orders → Supplier APIs** in your Fusion Pro Admin. You need permission to view supplier connections and separate editing permission to add or change one. Obtain the supplier’s integration instructions and credentials privately before starting.
Create a connection
1. Select **Add Supplier API** and choose the matching supplier from the searchable integration catalog.
2. Confirm the supplier/driver matches the provider’s API protocol.
3. Enter a clear connection/display name that staff can distinguish from other accounts.
4. Select the currency used for the supplier’s prices and balance.
5. Complete the supplier fields shown for that driver. Required fields vary by protocol.
6. Review public operational settings and select **Add** for a new connection, or **Save** for an existing one.
An existing connection’s driver is fixed in the editor. Create the correct connection rather than trying to reinterpret another driver’s saved fields. If you use a credit currency, review **Credits per USD** before importing prices.
Saving a connection does not automatically select a supplier service for every catalog item. Synchronize the supplier catalog and map the correct service to a product, or use the reviewed Quick Add workflow in the supplier editor.
Keep connection data private
Enter credentials only in the authorized connection form or your own Private Relay server configuration. Do not paste keys, passwords or raw supplier responses into public help. Use Private Relay when you intend supplier-specific values to stay on your server.
**Expected result:** Supplier APIs lists the saved display name and driver. If saving fails, correct the required driver fields, currency or permission issue. Reopen the connection to confirm the saved values before using real customer orders.
