Set up PayU, Paytm, PhonePe, or CCAvenue

Open **Payments → Payment Gateways → Add Gateway**, select the provider, and choose **Continue**. Enter **Name**, select **Processing Currency**, and complete that provider's required fields below. Use credentials from the same live merchant account and keep secret values private. After reviewing optional settings and **Limits**, choose **Save Gateway**.

Leave provider sandbox or try-environment switches off. Leave optional custom endpoint and SDK URL fields blank to use the built-in integration. The currency and methods must also be enabled by the provider on your merchant account. Common optional fees, **Custom Exchange Rate (1 USD)**, **Mask Description** where present, and **Disable** are described in the gateway setup guides.

PayU

**Required provider fields:** **Merchant Key**, **Merchant Secret / Salt**.

**Optional provider fields:** **Default Customer Email**, **Default Customer Phone**.

This is PayU India Hosted Checkout v2 with INR processing. Use the **Merchant Key** and **Merchant Secret / Salt** supplied for that integration. Optional default email and phone are fallbacks for missing order customer details. International or cross-border account approval does not automatically enable a different integration flow here.

Paytm

**Required provider fields:** **Merchant ID**, **Merchant Key**.

**Optional provider fields:** **Website Name**, **Default Customer Email**, **Default Customer Phone**.

This is Paytm JS Checkout. Select INR and enter your live **Merchant ID** and **Merchant Key**. **Website Name** defaults to DEFAULT for production when left blank. The optional default phone is used when an order has no valid 10-digit mobile number.

Paytm UPI Direct

**Required provider fields:** **Paytm MID**, **Paytm UPI ID**.

**Optional provider fields:** **Payee Name**.

This is a separate Paytm for Business UPI flow. Select INR, enter your **Paytm MID** and receiving **Paytm UPI ID**, and optionally set **Payee Name**. Customers must use the current checkout QR or UPI intent and reference so the order can be matched. Do not substitute a personal QR from another account.

PhonePe

**Required provider fields:** **Client ID**, **Client Secret**, **Client Version**.

**Optional provider fields:** **Payment Expiry Seconds**, **Callback Username**, **Callback Password**, **Default Customer Phone**.

This is PhonePe Standard Checkout V2. Select INR and enter **Client ID**, **Client Secret**, and the numeric **Client Version** provided by PhonePe. **Payment Expiry Seconds** accepts 300–3600 seconds and defaults to 1200. Set **Callback Username** and **Callback Password** together only when you have configured the corresponding server callback authentication in PhonePe.

CCAvenue

**Required provider fields:** **Merchant ID**, **Access Code**, **Working Key**.

**Optional provider fields:** **Default Customer Email**, **Default Customer Phone**.

Use the **Merchant ID**, **Access Code**, and **Working Key** for the same CCAvenue account. This checkout offers INR, USD, SGD, GBP, and EUR; non-INR currencies must also be enabled on that account. Optional default email and phone fill missing order details; a phone must be valid for the provider.

Check a new connection

Use a fresh checkout to confirm the expected provider name, processing currency, and total. If saving fails, recheck the required fields, live-account credentials, and currency selection. If the provider records a payment but the order does not update, keep the provider reference and order reference and ask support to review them before asking the customer to pay again. Never include secret values in that request.
