Change an Express Wallet destination safely

Changing your Express Wallet destination is a change to customer payment instructions. The edit form requires **I agree to edit address** before unlocking Wallet Address because existing assigned customer virtual addresses can change after the destination is changed.

Before changing the destination

1. Review outstanding customer payment instructions and recent Express Wallet transactions.

2. Arrange a point at which your website stops showing the old instructions.

3. Record the current destination and the relevant customer transaction references for your own reconciliation.

4. Prepare the new destination and confirm that it supports the enabled networks.

5. If a customer has already sent funds and you need help tracing them, open a support request before making further changes.

Save the change

1. Open **Payments > Express Wallet > Address** and edit the wallet.

2. Read the address-change warning. Select **I agree to edit address** when you are ready.

3. Enter the new Wallet Address, review Enabled Networks and fees, and save.

4. Request fresh Express Wallet instructions from your integration and update the addresses displayed to customers.

5. Tell affected customers to use the current instructions. Do not reuse old saved addresses or QR codes without checking them against a fresh response.

Removing a wallet

The delete action removes the Express Wallet configuration after confirmation. It does not reverse prior transfers or prove that old payment instructions are safe to use. Retain transaction hashes and network details for reconciliation. Recovery of a transfer sent using old or incorrect instructions needs individual investigation; do not send a second payment as a troubleshooting step.
