Configure SMS notifications
Fusion Owned License is end of life; these instructions describe existing legacy installations, and labels can vary by build.
Select the SMS gateway
1. Open **Settings > SMS Gateway**.
2. Choose the provider in **SMS Gateway**.
3. Complete the provider's settings, then use **SMS**, the test-message form, with a number you control.
Configure credentials in the installation's protected settings form. A successful submission to a gateway does not prove delivery to the handset.
Clickatell settings
Open **Settings > SMS Gateway > Clickatell Settings**. The archived form has these fields:
- **Clickatell API ID**: the API ID supplied for your provider account.
- **Clickatell username** and **Clickatell password**: the account's authentication values.
- **Sender ID**: the sender name or identifier shown with the message.
- **Force sender id** and **SMS Unicode**: additional controls present in the form. The archived article does not explain their behavior; check the installed integration and provider requirements before changing them.
These are the historical field names, not a statement that an old integration remains compatible with the provider's current service.
Configure a custom SMS API
Open **Settings > SMS Gateway > Custom API**. This legacy integration describes an HTTP GET API.
- **HTTP Base URL**: the provider's send-message endpoint, without the example recipient or message values.
- **"To" parameter**: the query-parameter name that receives the destination number. For a provider parameter written as `to=...`, enter `to`.
- **"Text" Parameter**: the parameter name for the message text; for `text=...`, enter `text`.
- **"Username" parameter**: the parameter name for the gateway username, such as `username`.
- **"Password" parameter**: the parameter name for the gateway password, such as `password`.
- **Custom parameter**: any extra URL parameter required by that integration.
Enter parameter names without quotation marks. Match the provider's actual API; a JSON or POST-only API is not the GET interface described here. Use the provider's supported HTTPS endpoint and keep credential-bearing request URLs out of public logs and support messages.
Edit message templates
Open **Settings > SMS Gateway > Messages** to edit predefined SMS templates. Send a test after changing the gateway or template, and check the installed build's message results or provider delivery report if messages are missing.
