Configure shipping methods

Add or edit a shipping method

Open **Settings > Shipping Gateway**, choose the carrier/category and edit the relevant method. For a custom or local method, review the documented fields:

1. **Services name**: the customer-facing shipping method name.

2. **Tracking URL**: the tracking-link format supplied by that carrier or delivery service.

3. **Pricing**: the configured charge by currency and weight, or the supported fixed-charge option.

Save the intended method and check its appearance in a representative cart. Use a controlled tracking reference to verify the customer link.

Weight and fixed charges

The archived interface supports prices based on weight as well as a fixed shipping charge. Review the product weights and selected currency together with the method's pricing rows.

The source illustrates a 1 kg row at $10 and a 5 kg row at $4, but its wording does not clearly distinguish a per-kilogram rate from a fixed total at the threshold. Do not infer a formula from that sentence. Use the installed editor's rate/unit labels and compare calculated totals below, at and above each configured weight boundary before relying on them.

Keep a copy of the pricing rows and observed cart totals when asking for a calculation to be reviewed. A shipping price or tracking link does not by itself mark an order as dispatched.
