Show a maintenance or site message

Fusion Owned License is end of life; these instructions describe existing legacy installations, and labels can vary by build.

Maintenance mode

1. Open **Settings > Site Message > Maintenance mode**.

2. Set **System in** to the intended **live** or **maintenance** mode.

3. Set **Approx. maintenance back time** to the return-time estimate you want visitors to see.

4. Enter **Maintenance message**, the text shown on the home page.

Use a clear estimate rather than promising a restoration time you cannot confirm. Check the visitor-facing home page after saving. The source documents these display controls; it does not say that maintenance mode stops cron jobs, payment callbacks or provider processing.

User Message

Open **Settings > Site Message > User Message** and edit the message shown when users visit the site. Use this for a general visitor notice, and check its appearance on the public page after saving.
