Manage campaigns, mass mail and SMS

Archived instructions for existing Fusion Owned installations; labels and available controls depend on the installed build.

Create an email campaign

Open **Utilities > Email Campaign** and use **Create Campaign** for its subject, content and selected Email Server. Publishing schedules the campaign as a sending batch. **Campaigns** lists saved campaigns and their status or progress.

Prepare a mass email

Go to **Utilities > Mass Mail > Send Mail**. You can use a predefined template or write one-time content.

Under **Mail Settings**, choose **Load Template**, **Mail server**, **Template Layout** and **No. of Mail per Batch**. Set **From Name** and **From Mail** for the sender.

Under **Mail to**, review:

- **User**: All User, User group, Newsletter, Product Notification or Picked user. The tool also has an option to exclude reseller users.

- **User Status**: All users, Active users or Inactive users.

- **User Type**: All users, Newsletter subscribed, or users except newsletter subscribed.

- **Subject** and **Body**: the message to send.

- **Save as template**: a name to retain this message as a predefined template.

The archived form also supports plain-text sending, background sending and preview. Preview the final message and send a controlled test before contacting the approved audience.

Check queued messages before retrying

Open **Utilities > Mass Mail > Background Queue**. Background mail is sent batch by batch by the cron job. If a campaign is not progressing, compare its queue with the site's cron configuration and mail-server settings before submitting the same send again. A queue entry or provider submission is not confirmed delivery.

Legacy campaign connectors

The archive records these connector settings:

- **Utilities > Mass Mail > iContact**: **Account ID**, **API Key**, **Username**, **API Password** and **Folder ID**; use **Start Synchronise** for newsletter synchronization.

- **Utilities > Mass Mail > Mail Chimp**: **API KEY** and **List-ID**, with options for **Synchronise newsletter Users** and **Send email confirmation to unsubscribed users**.

- **Utilities > Mass Mail > ZOHO Campaign**: **Authentication Token** and **List Key** to synchronize contacts.

Connector compatibility depends on the installed build and the provider's API. Enter credentials only in the protected configuration, and review the intended audience and consent before synchronizing contacts.

Subscribers and mass SMS

Use **Utilities > Newsletter Subscriber** to view subscribers or import addresses by pasting an email list or uploading CSV.

Use **Utilities > Mass SMS** to set **SMS To** to Users, Suppliers or picked users, then review **User Status**, **Client Group** and **Body**. A checkbox can exclude resellers. Check the selected audience and configured SMS service before sending.
