Manage currencies and exchange rates

Archived guide for existing Fusion Owned License installations; use the instructions for your installed build.

Add or edit a currency

Open **Settings > Currencies**. Enter or review the currency **code**, **prefix**, **suffix**, number **format** and exchange **rate**. The **Default** control selects the system's reference currency.

Review the effect on existing prices and reports before changing the default; the getting-started guide says the system-currency change takes effect in real time.

Recalculate rates

The original page calls its action **Upgrade rate**. It updates configured rates with respect to the default currency. Check the default currency first, run the intended rate-update action, then review representative prices in each affected currency.

Automatic rate updates, where configured, are controlled separately under **Settings > Automation > Currency update**. A historical field or feed reference does not establish that a third-party rate service is still available.

Choose a client's currency

Open the relevant client record and set the client's currency if it should differ from the system default. Review that client's service price and an invoice in the selected currency.

When comparing reports or diagnosing a price, keep the system currency, client currency, configured rate and actual service-price entry together; they are distinct settings.
